Ford unveiled its Ford Atlas concept truck at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show… and people are still picking their jaw’s up off of the floor. In a word, Wow! The concept boasts a next generation Eco-Boost engine and some very very nice new technology to go along with the revamped look. Some of the tech [...]

Ford’s EcoBoost line of engines has been a hit since they began rolling off the assembly line and started hitting the street. While the small car segment has enjoyed a boost (sorry!) in sales from the little engine that could, some of the biggest gains have come from the F-150 truck sales equipped with the [...]

Many of the current auto makers do major overhauls to their product lines every few years in an attempt to keep things fresh. Ford, however, has been doing slight change roll outs to several of it’s models for the past few years and it seems to be paying off. The latest to benefit from this [...]

Yet another recall for Ford. Hot on the heals of the recall last week for the Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, it would appear that the 2012 F-150 didn’t want to feel left out. This recall is for the front passenger side seat occupancy sensor not functioning properly in the 2012 Ford F-150 pickup. This error [...]

The rumors are swirling. Ford is set to debut their next generation F-150 in 2014 and there are a lot of reports that they will be using aluminum paneling in efforts to reduce weight. With stricter fuel standards and prices still meandering in the $3.00 plus a gallon territory it only makes sense. Some estimates [...]

A few months ago Ford Motor Company announced it was increasing the forecasted sales numbers for the F150 EcoBoost to 100,000 units. Now, in a statement just before Christmas, Ford has announced it has surpassed their goal. Ford pickup sales in general are up over 8% this year with the EcoBoost F-150 to be approximately [...]

Is it just me, or has there been a large number of recalls this year? Next up on the recall list is the 2011 Ford F-150 and 2012 F-250 through F-550. The issue at hand is a problem with the brake shift interlock switch. The problem with the switch may allow owners to shift their [...]
