While GM has had to shed some of the markets it was in due to bankruptcy, they’re apparently evaluating the possibility of re-launching efforts in the minivan and small truck realms. General Motors’ plant in Shreveport, Lousiana has been forced to idle production due to a shipment of bad microchips. The microchips in question are part of the brake control module manufactured by an outside supplier.
