Installation Steps:

Click to view fullsize imageThe BedRug bedliner comes shipped securely rolled up inside a relatively small sized box, considering the area the bedliner covers. Inside the box is a bag of commercial grade 3M hook and loop fasteners, a warranty card, an instruction manual and of course the BedRug itself.

Click to view fullsize imageTo begin the installation, remove the BedRug from the box and place on a flat surface (In this case, we used the bed of the truck).

Click to view fullsize imageOnce you unroll the BedRug, you will see it consists of two parts; the floor covering and the bulkhead and side coverings. At this time, you need to zip these two parts together. To make the next steps easier, lay out the BedRug the way it will be installed.

Click to view fullsize imageTo zip the BedRug together, start in the right corner of the bed, and zip all the way around until you have one large piece. (We walked along the inside of the bed as we did this)

Click to view fullsize imageNow that we have one large piece, it is time to start adding the hook and loop fasteners.

Click to view fullsize imageTo help aid in this process, you will notice markings (indentations) on backside of the BedRug, these are there show you where to place the hook strips with sticky backing (hook fasteners shown in red).

Click to view fullsize imageAt this time we will now begin the installation process. Roll up one side of the BedRug and you will see a 3' section where you will attach the hook fastener. We installed the 3' piece now to see where we would need to clean with alcohol.

Click to view fullsize imageOnce the hook fastener is installed, clean the area of the bed where the sticky side will adhere with rubbing alcohol. Make sure your BedRug is in the positon it needs to be and pull off the protective backing. Place the rug down and run your hand over the area to make sure it adheres properly. (Notice in photo on right, the area where hook fastener was installed on bed.)

Click to view fullsize imageWe will now start on the bulkhead (front of the bed). Start by first cleaning the area with alcohol.

Click to view fullsize imageNow you will attach the very long hook fastener to the top of the bulkhead and begin installing the 2" strips on the areas marked by the indentations.
