On July 22nd, the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles Louisiana put on a car and truck show, and Truckblog was there. The world famous Boyd Coddington and his wife, Jo Coddington, were the judges at the event. The show consisted of a total 50 cars, trucks, race cars, and hot rods. All the vehicles that attended the show were by invite only. One of our newest members to Truckblog, James (lincolnlightning), was also invited.

The show at the Isle of Capri Casino is one of six casinos Boyd Coddington will be visiting to judge car/truck show thoughout the South. What made this show great is the casino put this show together in less that three weeks!

As Boyd and his wife were judging the show, they both posed for pictures, signed autographs and talked with some of the vehicle owners. Later on that evening Boyd and his wife spoke with all the attendants of the show. After speaking, Boyd answered questions from the crowd that ranged from what was his favorite build, to his show "American Hot Rod".
