Out with the old, in with the new! After more than a year with the previous design, we've finally launched a new one. We're thrilled to launch the next generation Truckblog design, which packs a lot more into a better, lighter and faster format. To get started with the new changes, just visit the home page. You'll spot three new boxes at the top that give you the low-down on what's new at the site. They include the latest articles, the newest truck parts at our Truck Hownd product guide site, and the latest videos. But that's not all!

Speaking of boxes, you'll find our look to be a bit smoother -- gone are the harsh corners of our previous design. Everything has rounded corners, and even though the new design is more narrow overall, the boxes are spaced out even further. Technology is simply amazing, isn't it?

Along the right-hand side of the home page you'll also see a "Now in Forums" box which gives you a quick view of what folks are talking about in the Truckblog forums. Also, by popular demand, is a new "Featured Member" box that profiles one of our members and their ride.

It's not all just about boxes, however. The site is 60% faster to load! Thanks to the new (smarter) design, you'll be able to surf faster and wait a lot less between page turns. Colors have been improved, especially the link colors, to give you more positive feedback about what you are clicking at the site. Oh yes, there are also less ads as well!

For our sly FireFox visitors, there is greatly improved support. Truckblog is now highly optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox.

The forums area has been improved, too. Blog articles are linked directly into the forums, more forums have been added, a new look has been applied, and more changes are on the way.

We're not stopping here, though. We've been busy working on another way to view Truckblog for those on the road. Stay tuned for more information soon about how to easily access Truckblog from anywhere!
