More in: Chevrolet As an avid truck enthusiast, it is easy to pick out new vehicles while out and about during your day. I have never really been a big fan of the Chevrolet Avalanche, but I recently saw the updated version while passing by a Chevy dealership and I must say, even as a Ford fan - I am quite impressed. Lost a few model years ago, was a majority of the ridiculous plastic body armor (while still an option) and the front end of the truck has been upgraded to match that of their other truck platforms. The overall look of the truck is sportier, and the interior design looks much nicer as well. Starting price for a base vehicle is $33,170, with more expensive models including the usual luxuries such as 20" wheels, DVD players and navigation also available.
