Larger rims and tires demand more stopping power! The weak stock rotors generate a lot of heat and are less efficient when stopping more rolling mass. ROTORPROS' zinc plated drilled & slotted rotors help solve these issues quickly and efficiently, even withstanding heat up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit!

Utilizing cross drilled and slotted combinations for over 20 auto manufacturer applications, the ROTORPROS brake system helps release heat faster, keeping your pads and rotors cooler. Better yet, this performance increase can be performed in less than two hours.

Installation Time: 1-2 hours

Tools Required: Hand tools that most “do-it-them-self” car and truck enthusiasts have in their tool box. New inner bearings, outer bearings, and seals. DO NOT RE-USE bearings/seals! Grease. 10mm socket for the calipers. Crescent wrench. C-clamp. Wood.

Front Installation

Take off the cap on your master brake cylinder to allow pressure to be released from the system later on.

Previous rotors. Using a 10mm socket, unbolt the two nuts on the caliper.

With the calipers removed, take off the stock old pads and remove the caliper mounting bracket (two bolts).

Remove the dust cap from the rotor. You do this by prying the cap with a flat head screw driver on the corner and work your away around. Do not destroy the cap, as you will need to re-use it. Then, straighten out the cotter pin & remove it as well as the screw cover behind it.

You will notice a hex nut behind the cover. Using a crescent wrench, un screw the hex nut and grab the sides of the rotors firmly, while pulling it off.

Rotor removed.
