The State 2 State Cruise started at "Out of Control Off Road" in Irvine, California, and ended at the London Bridge resort in Lake Havasu, Arizona. This yearly event started on Friday March 17th and ended on Sunday, the 19th. The entire show was put on by Primedia, and there was a boat regatta put on by Jokers Wild Promotions.

The State 2 State cruise started at 8:30 at "Out of Control Off Road" in Irvine, California, where we picked up the first of five cards for the poker run. We got our t-shirts and they served coffee and donuts. We then headed over to MKW for a factory tour and picked up our 2nd card. From MKW, we caravaned over to BTW Performance for the raffle prizes and the next poker card. By this time I was holding 3 Queens!

Our 4th stop on the trip was S&S Motorsports. They had several different tricked out trucks on display. Our last stop was a local sports bar for eats, and the last card in the poker hand before the 250 mile journey out to Lake Havasu, Arizona. Friday night, after everyone arrived at almost 9PM, there was a dinner and we turned in our poker hands. A full house with a pair of 2s and trip 3s took the grand prize, over $500 in gift certificates.

First thing Saturday morning, everybody was out detailing and prepping for the show. The show was on the golf course at the resort, and had a great view of the London Bridge. Sunday, before the trophy presentation at about 4PM there was a bikini contest. What a contest! If you where there, you could tell right away who the 3 winners were. When the trophies where being handed out, the 1st place in each class also got a $100 cash prize! There where lots of great trucks, girls and every now and then, some sunshine. It was a great time, and I look forward to doing it again next year.
