More in: How-To, Chevrolet, Diesel, Engine, Performance Step 5 Remove the square aluminum shield attached to the inner fender well. Clean off any excess glue material used to hold the aluminum shield to the inner fender well.
Step 6 Install the Outlaw Air Box with the seal trim end against the inner fender well. Align and secure the air box using one of the 10mm bolts. Step 7 Remove the MAF sensor using the T-20 tamper-proof bit supplied in INPK-0031. Step 8 Install the MAF sensor into the Outlaw Intake Tube using the two screws provided in INPK-0022. Step 9 Install the Outlaw Air Filter into the Outlaw Cold Air Box. Secure the filter into the box using the (4) filter screws provided (from INPK-0004). It may be easier to get each screw started before tightening down all of the screws. Step 10 Install the 3.5” straight coupler provided in INCK-0002, onto the turbo inlet pipe. Slide the provided hose clamps over the 3.5” coupler. Step 11 Install the Outlaw Intake Tube into the 3.5” coupler and into the Outlaw Air Filter. Align your Outlaw Cold Air Intake System and tighten all hose clamps. Plug in the MAF sensor electrical connector. Step 12 Check that everything is properly connected and tightened. Check for missing tools. Step 13 Re-connect the negative battery cable. Start the vehicle's engine. Check that everything is secured with no air leaks or unusual noises. Notes • Over tightening can degrade the performance of components. • Periodically check all connections to ensure proper operation and security of components. • Replacement and maintenance parts are available through your local Outlaw authorized dealer.
