More in: Dodge With a loud crash and a cloud of dust, Dodge announced to the world that they were bringing back the Power Wagon to their 2005 line-up of trucks. This new, HEMI-powered rendition of the Powerwagon is "the most capable off-road production pickup ever created."
The new Powerwagon will be available in either a regular or quad cab body style and both versions will come standard with Dodge's 345 horsepower, 5.7L HEMI Magnum V-8 or the optional 5.9L high-output diesel. In addition to the standard HEMI (and the reason for Dodge's claim to the ultimate off-road production pickup) these trucks will come factory equipped with electric lockers for both front and rear differentials, a 12,000-lb winch and our favorite feature - the electronic disconnecting front sway bar. All these great features make for one heck of a base truck for a foundation to begin your off-road modifications.
