Honda cleans house at the North American International Auto Show by winning the 2006 Car of the Year award for the Civic and 2006 Truck of the Year award with the Ridgeline. To be eligible for the award the vehicles must be new or "substantially changed" from previous models. The Ridgeline was followed by the Nissan's Xterra in second place and Ford's Explorer bringing up third.
