More in: Engine, Ford A tipster over at PUT has reported that the F-150 will get Ford's V6 3.5 liter Ecoboost V6 in the near future. The twin turbo gasoline direct injection engine delivers "the performance of a V8 with the fuel efficiency of a V6" and is said to be the same engine found in the Mustang, which achieves a 30 mile per gallon fuel efficiency rating.
