More in: General Motors Sources across the intarweb are stating that General Motors have quietly trashed plans to produce the 2010 Pontiac G8 ST in North America which was set to hit dealer lots later this year. Based off of the Chevrolet El Camino and Ford Ranchero uni-body style pickup trucks from the 1960's and 1970's, the V8 powered G8 ST has encountered its early death because of the expected small niche market the truck would have filled, failing to meet a larger audience and becoming GM's next "cash cow". You can expect more vehicles to be axed from GM's model line up during 2009.
