According to Autoobserver, Honda Motor Company are planning on adding a eight cylinder motor to their Acura car brand, but we may see it show up in Honda's Pilot SUV or Ridgeline pickup truck. The addition will not come until 2015 though, or at least that is the current schedule for production. The engine is rumored to be a 3.5 liter eight cylinder, capable of producing more than 650 horse power. Honda CEO, Takeo Fukui, made a comment about the motor stating it "would be completely different from conventional practice and have excellent fuel economy". Sounds enticing for Ridgeline pickup truck fans.
