Studies have shown that 55 percent of fatal accidents are caused by lane departure, and this camera-based system developed by Iteris aims to help solve the problem. The camera, mounted behind the rear-view mirror, scans the road for lane markers and sounds a warning beep if the vehicle leaves the lane without signaling. Full Story...
