More in: Chrysler, Ford, General Motors  Last month we reported that Ford was offering an "employee discount for everyone"-like program similar to GM's, but only to be handed out by Ford employees. We also announced last week that if GM extended their discount, DaimlerChrysler would follow suit.
Today, bowing to the pressure from GM, DaimlerChrysler's Chrysler brand and Ford are matching GM's discount. For Ford, it excludes the Mustang and Escape Hybrid.
