More in: Ford, Recall, Safety  It is with much sadness that we have to report another fire due to the $20 switch which shuts off the cruise control on many Ford vehicles, but if we don't bring attention to this problem, we fear there will be many more fires. This story is yet another case where a family parked their 2001 Ford Expedition in their garage, only to have it burn down their entire home. Thanks to their pet Chihuahua, their lives were saved.
