Think back to one of the last three Christmas mornings at your house. Do you recall buying Junior a toy "Humvee" called the CORPS! ATK Vehicle manufactured by Lanard Toys Inc.? If you did, you now have a collectors item in your toy box.

According to The Detroit News, General Motors and AM General have won a lawsuit against the toymaker that has been going on for four years now, to keep a knock-off Hummer off the shelves of K-Mart and other retailers.

"Following a three-day trial in March, a jury ordered Lanard Toys to pay $1.3 million because the company 'used the trademark intentionally knowing that it was an infringement.' During the trial, Lanard's chief designer said in a video deposition that he had copied aspects of the Hummer. In one model sold previously at Kmart, the box identified the product as a 'Corps Hummer.' Toys 'R Us advertised it as a 'Humvee.'"

So when little Jimmy is asleep tonight, go rummage through his toy box and snatch back that toy because in a few years it's going to be worth some green on eBay.
