Manufacturers are known for debuting new vehicles at the big auto shows that happen throughout the beginning of the year across America, of which the Detroit, Chicago and New York Auto shows are some of the biggest. True to fashion, Isuzu debuted their oddly familiar i280 and i350 mid-sized truck at the New York auto show, just last week.

If it looks familiar, it's because this is nothing more than Chevy's Colorado/GMC's Canyon with a grill insert borrowed from Isuzu's Ascender SUV and the Chevy/GMC branding replaced with Isuzu's. In fact the i280 comes with the Vortech i4 2.8-liter, DOHC and the i350 comes with the Vortech i5 3.5-liter, just like it's Chevy/GMC brethren.

I guess if Chevy and GMC can't sell them, maybe Isuzu can which begs the question, how long until Isuzu will be selling the new iSSR pickup?
