If you caught the NBA All-Stars game last night, you might have seen a feature on Shaq where he's driving an oversized commercial sized truck down the road. Is this the trend to come? Is this just a sign of the times? Gas and Oil Prices are the highest they have ever been and Ashton Kucher decides he would be cooler behind the wheel of an International CXT. Shaq shows us his GMC TopKick C6500 and let's not forget Puffy and his Pepsi Truck.

Don't get me wrong, these trucks are pretty cool, but they cost so much that only the stars, or business can afford them and do you really want to be headed down the freeway with someone like Ashton behind the wheel of a 10,000 lbs truck. These trucks require a commercial license to drive in the real world. Why would anyone want to put a celebrity behind the wheel of a truck big enough to roll over the average truck and comes equipped with enough blind spots to loose a city bus.

Shaq is well known for being a car and truck enthusiast and we see his new GMC TopKick is no exception to that rule with it's chromed wheels, tricked out stereo system and enough headroom for him to sit comfortably, but it still defies all common sense to drive something like the Topkick or CXT around for everyday use. I can see having one if you hauled a MASSIVE boat, or maybe you had a gold plated back hoe.

Is it just us or people going overboard with these massive commercial trucks? Is it only a matter of time before we start seeing all the mommies trade in their Excursions and H2's and start driving these commercial haulers to the supermarket? At least the CXT's dump bed could be used to drop off the groceries.

Okay, so we will make an exception for Eva Longoria who's so hot she can make a Diet Pepsi truck look good.
