More in: Spy Photos, Diesel, Engine, Ford, Fuel, Performance Jalopnik obtained new pictures of the 2010 Ford F-150 diesel pickup truck in the wild, showcasing the first evidence of the 4.4 liter diesel engine actually being tested, which proves that Ford really is working on the new power platform for the lighter duty pickup truck. The new diesel motor will achieve 9 percent more horse power and 15 percent more torque over the current 5.4 liter eight cylinder, pushing the diesel's numbers to 350 horse power and 450 foot pounds of torque. The photos also include Ford's signature diesel exhaust system which is found on the SuperDuty pickup truck, "DIESEL FUEL ONLY" sticker across the gauges, seven lug wheels, and fuel tank.
