To do so, loosen the recovery hose itself by it's own clamps. Be careful for any coolant that may leak out of the radiator at this time. To get to the radiator, you'll need to take off the stock fan shroud as well. Then install the new supplied coolant recovery hose.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Once you've relocated the coolant hose, you have to install the new heat shield with the provided hardware. Go back to your factory intake box and remove the two screws that secure the mass air flow sensor, located on the side of the intake box. Use the provided gasket on the mass air flow sensor, connecting it using the stock hardware you used from the stock air box, and bolt the mass air flow sensor onto the new K&N tube assembly. Then, install the NPT fitting into the side of the intake tube, as well as the K&N mounting bracket for the tube.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Once the tube is ready, install the silicone hose and clamp onto the throttle body. Then install the K&N intake tube, unlock the crank case vent hose from the valve cover and install the provided silicone vent hose onto the plastic vent hose on the K&N tube. Finally, plug in the mass air sensor's electrical connection to the tube.
![]() Lastly, install the silicone hose assembly onto the pre-oiled K&N filter with the provided clamps. Finally, slide on the new filter onto the intake assembly, and tighten all the clamps.
