Leading truck cap and tonneau cover manufacturer A.R.E. delivers total in-bed organizational solutions that can help fleet owners lower operating costs while remaining productive.

"In today's environment of rising fuel prices and a slowing economy, many fleet managers are undoubtedly searching for ways to curb their operating costs, including switching from large, gas-guzzling vehicles to smaller pickup trucks," said Jim Blayne, sales manager for A.R.E.'s commercial and fleet division. "A.R.E. has expanded from a traditional cap manufacturer into a total bed solutions provider, offering a variety of organizational products, such as a full selection of plastic storage bins to hold small parts, tools, extension cords, nails, screws and much more in the side compartments of our Deluxe Commercial Unit truck cap."

A.R.E. began manufacturing truck caps and tonneau covers out of its Ohio facility almost four decades ago and currently offers a variety of toppers for most full, mid-size and small trucks in the market today.

The Deluxe Commercial Unit (DCU) was developed in the '70s to serve commercial fleet applications. Featuring a fully welded aluminum inner structure, this commercial cap has more than 200 options to turn any pickup into the perfect work truck, including a variety of door and window configurations, toolboxes, custom ladder racks, interior fabric liners, side panels and overall cap heights.

"Our DCU is available in four height configurations - 23 inches, 26 inches, 29 inches and 36 inches - so technicians can carry all the necessary gear for the job, whether cable spools, tripods or tile saws," Blayne continued. "All doors come equipped with Strattec lock cylinders in folding t-handles to provide security for the equipment inside."

Additional organizational solutions available from A.R.E. include the Bedslide(tm) sliding cargo tray, which allows technicians to pull equipment out of the bed for easy access, and the Kargo Master Pro II Series universal truck rack. The truck rack has a 1,700 pound cargo capacity so it can easily transport large items like lumber, drywall or ladders.

A.R.E. also offers heavy duty aluminum truck covers from DiamondBack that create a 1,600 lb. hauling platform and open at both ends to provide full access to tools and equipment. Prime Design locking ladder racks, Sortimo in-vehicle shelving solutions and a variety of toolboxes options are available, as well.
