Since the United States pickup truck market has been in the toilet due to high fuel prices and lack of consumer interest, Hyundai Motor Company has called off their own plans of producing several mid size pickup trucks at their Georgia manufacturing plant. Hyundai have decided to continue producing passenger vehicles instead, steering clear of "turmoil in the truck business in the U.S. Sales of pickups and large sport-utility vehicles". No further details have been released about the pickup truck or Hyundai Motor Company. Reported by Wall Street Journal.
