Solid By Design, Inc. has been granted a license by AMP Research to manufacture AMP’ patented Alloy Fuel Doors exclusively for the automotive aftermarket. AMP Research will continue to manufacture its custom alloy fuel-filler doors sold through OEM accessory programs that include GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mazda, Mitsubishi.

Solid By Design continues the sophisticated styling, high quality fit and finish, and superior workmanship that AMP Research Alloy Fuel Doors are known for. Starting with computer surface data of each vehicle, each fuel door is designed and machined to perfectly match the body contours of each make and model. Installation is an easy, no drill bolt-on process using existing mounting points and gas cap. Utilizing AMP’s patented compact, concealed cam-action hinge provides a smooth and trouble-free operation.

Solid By Design now offers alloy fuel doors for Chevy Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, Dodge Ram; Ford F-Series Trucks, Ford Excursion, and Ford Mustang. Finishes include Silver Line Grain Anodized, Black Matte Powder Coat, and High-Polish Aluminum.
