Ford Motor Company confirmed today that they have sold their Jaguar and Land Rover brands to India's Tata Motors, for over $2 Billion. The deal also includes that Ford will pay nearly $600 Million in pension funds for Jaguar and Land Rover employees. Ford will continue to supply engines and body parts to Tata Motors for the two brands. Jaguar and Land Rover's petrol engines are currently built at a Ford plant in South Whales, and their diesel engines are produced in Dagenham, located in eastern London. An official announcement is expected later today. As posted by Yahoo Finance.
