Back in October of last year, Chris and I were lucky enough to test drive the new 2008 Ford F-450 at an exclusive media event at Ford's proving grounds in Romeo, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. Although these heavy duty trucks were put to the test (and we were very happy with the results), we never had the chance to test them in the "real world". Scott Burgess of Detroit News, had the chance to place a F-450 to the test, and says "It could cruise at 80 miles per hour, never stressing or huffing along winding roads near Joshua Tree National Park. Even as it descended into Lake Havasu, Ariz., the F-450 chugged happily along". Check out Scott's review via this link.
