Customers will be able to upgrade their current Sync systems through a portable thumb drive, without having to go to their local dealership. The telematics access will be delivered through your cell phone, using its cellular service. Unlike General Motors' OnStar technology, Ford's Sync will not feature embedded phones in vehicles, which will not allow them to be tracked through global positioning systems.Discuss now in our forums: Lightening the Lightning Diesel Racing - Clash of the Titans America Loves Trucks: Like we didn't know that! 2004 Ford Explorer Flip Trac Hybrid News From Ford & GM New Doors Opening For Ford Ford to Cut 1,100 CAW Jobs, Eh!
