For vehicles with a 4 wire flat trailer connector, the L.E.D strip comes with a 4 wire male flat trailer connector. For easy installation, simply plug your connector into the trailer hitch adapter. If your vehicle has a different connector from the one provided, specific connectors can be purchased from auto parts stores such as Kragen or Autozone. And you're done! The tailgate strip also gives you the option of hard wiring the strip, if desired. The following image is a diagram of the provided connector.
