James Healey of USA Today gave the Nissan Frontier two thumbs up in a recent test drive of the remade compact pickup, claiming it to be capable of competing with the big boys after.

Healey says the new frame adopted from the Titan makes all the difference in the world to how the smaller Frontier rides. "The ride is stiff, but not harsh or unduly bumpy, as long as you avoid the Nismo (Nissan Motorsports) off-road model."
