DodgeTalk posted an image of the 2009 Dodge Ram they discovered by accident on Dodge's accessory website, MoparAccessories.com. No details have been released about the truck, other than the announcement of their rear coil sprung rear end that we reported about. But with all of the excitement behind the 2009 Dodge Ram pickups, Dodge announced that they will halt production of the 2008 Dodge Ram for the entire month of January 2008 at their two U.S. plants in Fenton, MO and Warren, MI. The shut down is due to low sales figures, and over stocked dealer lots.

With Ford and General Motors announcing their production cuts last week, how much longer will the "Detroit Big 3" be able to compete with their foreign competition? Hopefully 2008 will bring a positive answer.
