"Hummer has an image problem. It is the poster boy for poor fuel economy. And now that Congress is about to boost corporate average fuel economy, or CAFE, Hummer has a fuel economy problem - and a bigger image problem. General Motors believes it can improve Hummer's image and fuel economy without hurting the brand's two bedrock attributes, in-your-face styling and off-road performance," AutoWeek reports.
