America, your lawmakers and legislators are hard at work keeping you and your family safe from dangerous things in society. In one recent example, the Arizona congress wasted about 500 man-hours of tax payer dollars to decide that for now at least the good truckers of the Grand Canyon State can still display naked woman silhouettes, and other pictures and phrases, on their mudflaps.

"I personally am tired of explaining to my 11-year-old son why they (women) are depicted on mudflaps , but not all women are 36Ds. He's very confused by that," Democratic Rep. Theresa Ulmer of Yuma said. "But seriously, this is about family values -- what are we going to send out as a message to our children."

This is clearly a victory for truckers with a message everywhere.

For residents of Arizona, keep this story in mind when you're filling out your tax forms this year. This is what your dollars are funding.
