With fuel economy being first and foremost on the minds of most Americans, it's easy to be caught up in the bolt-on modifications that claim to get better fuel mileage. Even though it's not a truck, it has the same motor as the F-150, so we thought it relevant to show you how easy it was to add the Fitch Fuel Catalyst to Muscle Car Blog's 07 Ford Mustang GT, Project "Pony Up". For a change we actually found something that did increase fuel mileage for our project vehicle which previously averaged 24 highway miles per gallon but now gets 27 miles per gallon, which is outstanding for a high performance muscle car.
