Total engineered power systems specifically calibrated for towing and work applications are now available from Gale Banks Engineering for ’03-06 Dodge 5.9L Cummins pickups. Banks’ Stinger® and Power Pack® systems combine intake, tuning, turbo and exhaust upgrades for strong, responsive acceleration; faster hill climbs with less backshifting and lower exhaust gas temperatures; superior towing ability; greater durability and improved fuel economy.

The Banks OttoMind®6 Diesel Tuner, available in both system, has six adjust-on-the-fly power levels, comprehensive fuel tuning, built-in engine and transmission safeguards and a Fuel Economy mode. For ultimate control, Stinger and Power Pack systems pair the OttoMind6 with Banks’ full-color, portable touch-screen PowerPDA® Vehicle Command Center. PowerPDA controls, monitors and records performance functions and 17 engine parameters. A Banks Ram-Air® filter, BigHead® wastegate actuator* and stainless 4” constant-diameter Monster® Exhaust system (or new Diesel Duals™ Monster Exhaust) are also included in each system. Stinger adds rear-wheel gains of up to +75 hp and +175 lb-ft. Power Pack’s rear-wheel best gains are even better (+100 hp and +235 lb-ft of continuous, useable power), thanks to the addition of Banks Techni-Cooler® intercooler and High-Ram® intake, which greatly increases the density of air entering the cylinders.
