What takes place this Saturday, involves sparks, massive burnouts and jumping trucks? It's the California Jamboree After Dark show and cruise in Long Beach, California. As if hosting two major SoCal truck shows this past year wasn't enough (Spring TruckJam and Summer TruckJam), show promoter Pierre Hoffmann has added a third this year. And this show is a brand new concept, generating a lot of buzz all over Southern California.

The show starts at noon and goes all the way into the night, ending at 10pm. After Dark will feature events such as a bikini contest, an air hop contest, a burnout contest, a show, and a cruise. But for the first time at a major show in SoCal, California Truck Jamboree presents a rail dragging contest. As pictured above in the show flyer, sparks will be flying everywhere!

The Truckblog Crew will be right in the middle of all the action, taking hundreds of photos all day and all night. We'll also be shooting video, mounting video cameras to trucks and catching all sorts of wild camera angles, including the rail dragging contest.

If you can't make it to this show, hopefully it's because you aren't in Southern California on Saturday... because this show is not to be missed! But don't run out and do anything too crazy because we'll be uploading a ton of photos & video next week to Truckblog for your enjoyment.
