I purchased the same GPS for my wife. I'll have to check out that site for the aftermarket mount.

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

For all of you TomTom owners out there. I heard about this free program called TYRE on the TomTom Forums web site. If you plan any long trips, this program works really good.

You use Google Maps (or Google Earth) to set up the route you want to take and the TYRE program allows you to download the route (as a series of waypoints) to the TomTom. On the TomTom it shows as an itinerary. You then load the itinerary file into the TomTom's memory and let the TomTom calculate the route based on the waypoints saved in the itinerary.

After messing with the program for a while, I was able to plot my entire route from home in NH to my daughter's house in NC, telling the TomTom exactly which roads I wanted to take. This can be done on the TomTom, if you have the patience, but it is so much easier to do on the PC's larger screen, using the mouse and keyboard. Plus you can save lots and lots of these itinerary files on the PC and only load the ones you need for a trip onto the TomTom.

This is a free shareware program, but you can make a donation to the author, if you want.
