*edit I know the tips arent level/even. Finished the install late at night, and adjusted them after the pics were taken.

I like it a lot. I have 2 regular 6" drop hitches, 2" and 2 5/16. Always kept the 2" in the bed so it was there when needed. Damn horse trailer is 2", dunno why a 7000lb trailer has a 2" hitch.

Anyway, I got the 10" drop. Was nervous it might be too much, but it takes all of it tp level most trailers out so I'm glad I didnt get the 8"

I chose it over the rapidhitch because it has the locking mechanisms built in, is much more theft resistant, and I also got one of their trailer tounge locks keyed alike.

Check out their product line

I read you have 6" tips. Are those tips form MBRP? Or are they aftermarket tips from another vendor?

Thanks.

tips are MBRP t5651 4" inlet 6"od 18" long 304SS

They arent listed on MBRPs website yet, but you can find them around on the net. I didnt like the short 12" tips. I prefer the dual wall style, which these are not, but I like them much. Sometimes I look at them and think, those arent that big, they should be larger, and then I see a stock truck, or some gasser with "great big" 3" tips lol So I guess 6" is good. The 5" just didnt do it for me.

Thank you for the information. I really appreciate it. I must say. Those 6" tips really caught my attention. So you never thought of buying Magnaflow?

When duals were installed, did you find problems with the pipes to close to the spare tire or near anything heat sensitive that might be damaged from the heat? I plan to upgrade on tires. I'm running stock right now. However, I plan to keep my spare stock as is.

No problems with the tire, the only problem is the downpipe is a little too close to the pinch weld on the firewall, and rattles against it now and then. I just have to adjust it.

I was thinking about it, but was concerned the air horns wouldn't fit properly in the spare tire location.
