Paint it black, you'd never know there wasn't a chair rail there.

Yeah, we though the plate was wider. Paint will fix it though, nbd

I was gonna say run the chair rail right up to the edge of the plate, but since it's already installed...

We originally cut the rails to the specs of the plates, but that obviously was wrong. Oh well.

New lighting soon, then it'll be done.

Chris, my brother-in-law makes metal signs like that. He's done some really intricate work, like deer/mountain scenes. He's in the Portland, Oregon area, I'll see if he has the time to do something like that (depending on how much time one of those takes).

Thanks, Mort. Would appreciate it. We're still considering a few other options for a sign, but that is still one of them. Let me know what he says!

Thanks for the feedback. The outtakes are really what make the videos real. It goes to show that we're not professionals, and it does sometimes take 10+ tries to make a scene sound right , aside from us acting stupid.

when you put stuff into storage.. did you mean like a shed in your backyard?
and if so was the shed already there all this time?

Arti, you might want to go back and read the "Truckblog.TV Cart Racing" topic :)

I took some final photos today... here are a few quick updates:

Here's all the diamond plate bling:

the final shot, all cleaned up:

A few different angles:

new lighting (more of these to come...)

Looking good bud, thankfully you didn't wait for me to visit when wanting to start all this (I would've totally helped though).

Pretty soon you are going to be renting out a garage/studio complete with lifts and everything at this rate.

Well here's how my DIY sign is coming along... been working on it off and on this week. It's approximately 1' X 5' and should look great on camera.

These are Styrofoam letters... but I need to put them on something that can be hidden, and painted the wall color to match. Also it needs to be movable in case the location isn't the best spot...

Any ideas? I bought some wooden dowels that might work but I'm open to other suggestions!
