DAMMMIT.. stupid thing hit POST NEW REPLY before I was done. Guess I got too excited.

Yeah, had a 4 hour layover in Houston, flying from San Antonio to Seattle. Called up Mike, and said "dood, let's stretch the legs out on Cheeze Wiz...."

So, forgetting about traffic, and me waiting anxiously to go hossin' around in the vehicle named after aerosol coagulated mammal milk, I sat there...and waited, and waited...

I hear this "Rmmmmm.....pshhhhhh!!!" and immediately suspected a force fed V8...looked up, and sure enough, it was Mike.

Man oh man, the thing is fast!!! Runs like a raped ape. Everything is setup up nice and neat, done up well, and is still tuned rather conservatively, as there is still around 40-50 hp to be had with the current setup, based on a quick scan of the gauges during the time I was behind the wheel. If it's this fast now, think of how fast it'll go with the extra ponies!!!!

Yeah, a roll on 2nd gear stomp will send the rear tires up in smoke, as when the turbos sing 9 lbs of boost, the ass end breaks loose, and then it's race to see which end beats the other coming around the corner....

I want one. Nick did a bang up job on this custom installation!!!

Okay Mike. That does it. Next time I'm headed to Puerto Rico (via Houston) I'm arranging a longer layover...

no, Nick (One of the owners of Fastlane) drove the car. I just wanted to see how it would do without having to get behind the wheel. I have never driven at the track so I didn't want to start the learning experiance now.

Maybe i'll do it next time.
