at this point any of the above would be an improvement over the plastic drop in crap I've got in my truck bed.

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

There's more than just 2 flavors out there now. A good independent who knows (and cares about) what he's doing beats a bad prep job from one of the big franchises any day. You can also save a little by finding a good independent. Just ask a few questions about their process and you'll know if they're any good or not.

Try www.bedlinertruth.com for some inside info...

Rhino and Line-x didn't merge. It was the makers of the equipment that sprays most bedliners. Glascraft and Graco used to compete against eachother to sell the systems to companies who spray bedliners and other 2 component coatings. now they are one in the same. Potentially bad for the smaller operators (big ones too...)

Talked to George about Speedliner. I guess he used to spray their products back in the day (before me). They still have him listed on their website but he has his own private juice now.

Comparing speedliner versus others, there are a few different blends speedliner has. He is going to put something together and post on his site. I'll link to it when he gets it together. George is SUPER technical you might have to sift through a little chemistry but he knows his stuff (not saying that just cause he sends me a paycheck! i work for him BECAUSE he knows his stuff)

Anyways, right now I'm in a Tacoma. Little small but GREAT gas mileage. I hope to stick around here for awhile. Or at least until I get booted off!!

Damn. Nice! How many hours did this take, do you know? What kind of material? Do you have closeup detail pics?? What is troubledminds.org? Couldn't find it through google...

Yes, I eat my own cooking. I also work with service trucks (www.qtequipment.com), very rugged application with heavy stuff dropped in every day. Everything that goes out with liner is DCAM liner that George Flanik does for us.

they use that super liner material.. I have no idea about the hours it took.. but I told them to take their time, and they kept it about a week..

and troubledminds.org is my site, which isnt up yet.. its to help people who have mental issues like forms of PTSD or Bipolar Disorder.. who have a hard time working and need help in many ways.. its also for people with other kinds of mental issues tho too.. I work on the site a little each day, but Im not pushing it too much..

Since my truck is advertising for it tho now, I think I should just put up something super temporary this week..

I think by putting it on my truck like that, it shows people how serious I am..

OH, and the 2001 Offroad Odyssey under my user name.. thats what I call my truck all over the internet..

there are closer up pics in my gallery under 08 Texas Heatwave.. but there are also girls in the shots.. hahaha..

I have had Line-X, Rhino, and Super liner Bedliners. The Line-X peeled and faded within 6 months, the Rhino faded and chalke dout within 6 months. Super Liner is the only liner in my opnion that is worth is weight. I sprayed the interior, roof rockers and bed of my 03 SD. I have sprayed the interior panels and the complete exterior of my 87. The Super Liner has not faded nore has it peeled, or chalked out and it has been on the truck for over two years.

Speedliner and Super Liner are almost identical. They were both started and operated by the same person. Speedliner was awarded to the wife and the chemist in the legal seperation of the marriage. SuperLiner was refined i the areas of elongation, and color/pigment retention. Arti your truck takes about 8 -10 hours to prep, 2- 4 hours of masking, about 1 hour to psray the base color, another 2-4 hours for the prep / masking of the stripe, 8-10 hours for the graphics (includes setup and cleaning of the vinyl template.) No small task. From what i understand they also sprayed the inside of your prerunner fenders. I think there was quit abit of clean out time there..

My truck has been preped and spayed twice. I have over 200 hours in it. The first coating let go due to the base media letting go (My Dad had put 6 different layers of paint on the truck. I will see abou tposting pictures.

when you post there are a row of buttons above the posting area.. the 4th one from the left has a black triangle and a yellow box with some mountains in it.. basicly you just click that and then insert the image where it fits in between..
