Unfortunately no pics but about a month ago my friend and I were hooking up his boat with his Chevy dually. I backed down the ramp, he hooked up the boat and then I proceeded to try and pull the boat out. Well it stalled because he "forgot" to put gas in it. So, I ran and got the expy and pulled both his chevy and trailer out of the way.

I don't know why I never take a picture of me towing the boat. A 21.5 foot bowrider, I have my eye on a 24 footer, but, we want a new house or at least new neighbors first.

Looks like you could use a little more clearance between the camper and truck. I will have to get some picks for this. Everything from a 4X8 flatbed that you cant even see behind my truck to a 14,000# gooseneck horse trailer. (That's loaded with 4 horses and all gear.) And everything in between. I hauled a 12,000 pound bobcat on my beater car trailer with my old beater '83 F250 (lighter F250) 4X4 6.9L diesel. It was a load but I was able to balance the weight well because the bobcat is so compact compared to a car that weighs a third or quarter as much, but so much of the weight is right behind your hitch.

I was reminded about this by some of the pics even before thinking about that particular haul of mine. Keep it level, keep it level, keep it level! Not even the nicest trailer around will tow worth a * of you get it too far off level. Always make sure you are as level as possible and always have the trailer slightly higher in the front than the back if you can't get it perfectly level. Even if the truck is not level, as this is obviously a lot harder to fix, you will tow a lot smoother if the trailer is right. Having the truck squatting in the rear and the trailer low at the tongue equals weaving all over and asking for a wreck. The right rear trailer tire always takes the most punishment because of trailer levelness and crown of the road, so make sure it's air up and in good shape, as well as all the others obviously. I have been towing trailers on the road since I was 14 on a school permit, and I see a lot of un-safe * on the road around me that I don't like to be around. A little common sense when towing and taking it a little easier goes A LONG WAY!
