Just curious who all have a Kenne Bell installed. Did you change it from a stock blower set up or is it an add on.

I wish they had one for the 4 cylinder Hyundai Sonota. My girlfriend's car is nice, but it needs more oomph.

Have you tried to 'Oomph' it off a hilltop? Then you can replace it.

Kenne Bell is licensed from Whipple in Australia, isn't it? Now that Whipple also has a sales company in the US, and you can buy a 'Whipple', have people started using Whipples on L's as often as they use KB's?

Internally, I'd imagine that they are darned near identical.

Well Whipple gets there rotors from Lyschom and they are in a lawsuit.. seems Lyschom can't supply the rotors in a timely fashion. KB isn't that same animal. They may or maynot get their rotors from lyschom but they are not one in the same... besides the whipple for the Lightning has been on backorder for years!! So your options as of now is a KB, Magnum powers, or a Ported Eaton...

Interesting! Thanks for that info.

I knew the Lyscholm (dunno how to spell it) had the original patent on that sort of blower, but I didn't know that there was a company by that name supplying the other companies. I figured it was just licensing fees for the patent or something.

two weeks ago I was at the track and saw a red lighting with a built jdm motor and a KB sitting on top. I didnt have a whole lot of time to talk to the guy, but he said he put down 742 rwhp last time on the dyno.

Id say thats probably at the motor.

I have a JDM build motor with a KB on it tuned by Jim D'Amore himself.

It makes 743 at the motor not the rear wheels.I think hes exagerating.

I also have every bolt on JDM makes. Even his latest ones not on the site. Plus a couple of extra tricks as well.

Im just going by what he told me...couldnt tell you if its true or not. That also could have been on spray, I didnt look under the tonneau to see if there was a bottle or not.

just going by what he said, it was at 742 to the ground and he pulls mid 10's with it. unfortunatly I didnt get to see him run, so it may all be BS.

yeah I dont blame you there...I sure as hell wouldnt.

he also said that its his second motor this year, he blew the first built jdm.

Im not sure what he was talking about, but he was bragging about his license plate..it read #1wfc (or something like that). I had no clue what that was, but he quickly explained it meant number one world ford challange, and I guess he took first place racing there... or so he says.

I did some reading about the wfc, and tried to find some info on him but couldnt.

I still have the picture on my camera, so I just looked at it again and zoomed way in to it, the one on the front windshield in the center says "muscle mustangs and fast fords", next to that says "fun ford weekend", I cant make out the one on the left...

and all I can make out from the one on the back window is a few letters...I cant see what the first one is, but the second letter is U, the third is P, the fourth is E, and I loose it from there....

the only things I can vouch for is it sounded insane, it had a pretty mean stance, it did have the KB sitting on top, and he was bolting up the skinnys and slicks when I was walking away.

I don't recognize that red truck either...

Greez - I bet Earl could set up the Nitrous to be a real small shot, and then work up from there on a dyno or something. I am sure that the internals of that engine could handle it.
