So I haven't been on much, here's the story...
For starters, I've been extremely busy at work. In only a few short months, I've risen, through attrition, to the top spot in concrete quality control at work. So that means a lot of hours and a lot of responsibility. But here's the shitty part.
We're going to be moving soon, but not all at once. Due to some financial difficulties, we can't afford to live in our current house anymore (or any house for that matter), so my wife and the kids will be moving in with her parents, three hours away. The catch is, since it is a rural area, there isn't much work, so I'll be couch surfing around here for a couple months, probably until next spring. I have a few ideas on where to stay, since most of my relatives live around here, but it still sucks that I'll only be able to see my family on weekends.
That's basically the reader's digest version of my life recently. How have you all been?
