Best mods for power/torque and mileage is to hand it over to Dr. Speed for a month or two!

Congrats on the new ride!

HAHAHA....that's an option.

I would say, how much money do you want to spend?

The most "cost effective" solution (without destroying your transmission) would be to get an Edge Juice with Attitude. It incoporates electronic power mods (fueling, injector duty cycle, timing etc).

The alternative is to get a DP Tuner F6 chip, and a set of Autometer gauges (3 gauge pod) to monitor the vitals of your juiced up diesel.

I would look into a custom burnt chip and atleast hacking the muffler off. Most importantly getting some gauges in that thing. Atleast a pyrometer, and a trans temp gauge.

Whatever is cheapest really. They are all about the same. I would get an oiled filter (dry filters are worthless).

So, and aFe Stage I (~$200):

And a Grand Rock Exhaust:

Well, that's what the Edge Juice w/Attitude does...for his power level needs, it does not yet warrant a custom burnt chip....custom=$$$$.

Unless you have dual HPOPs, huge injectors, monster turbo....it's not worth it.

Can't wait for it to get here now. What oil are you guys running in your powerstrokes?

Mine has rotella in it right now should I stick with that or use something else?
