1) Can the upfitter switches and tray piece be installed on a 99-04 SD?

2)If the install can not be made to fit in the 99-04 cubby, Is the install of a lower dash from an 05-07 straight forward?

3) Back to an upfitter question, I believe that I read that in the harness of the / for the upfitter switches, I can cut of the pigtail that connects into the OEM truck fuse block and wire the six wires into a keyed ignition source....am I correct??

Thanks in advance - Manny Pena

I believe you have to swap the dash piece. Unless you want to be crafty and try and trim the pocket out. And you should be able to wire them in without the pigtail.

thanks...looks like thats what I'm gonna do, just get the whole dash piece, it wasn't too bad at all, about 120 total w/o cupholder and about 90 for the whole switch kit
