Im sure many of you know that I come from a long line of Film Makers beginning with my grandfather who became Jack Warners (Warner Bros)trouble shooter in 1919.

My father and uncles also followed in his footsteps as Assistant Directors, Producers and Directors of Photography

I was the next in line beginning in 1959 as an assistant director to later become a producer.

But I wanted to share with you the talent of my Son In Law, James Michael Muro who is now carrying on our family tradition.

Here is a film compilation of Jimmys work on You Tube as a Steadi Cam Operator and Director Of Photography. You will see the incredible body of work he has done so far and every shot in this film he did.

To further appreciate it be sure to put it into full screen mode.

Enjoy

I know his work well. What an incredible vision he has - and to be able to translate that vision through a lens is a talent I envy.

Lynn, next time you see him, please tell him he has a fan up north.

Edit: You were in the film industry? Huh. I didn't know that!

Well not really in the film industry I just stood on a couple of movie sets once.

I will definitely tell Jimmy about, your love for films and that you enjoy his work.

We went looking for a five acre compound to build a family residence together this weekend. Not sure thats a great idea. LOL

Sweet - "The Guthrie Kibbutz" What a great concept! Gonna have a 25-car garage, right?

That's quite impressive. A lot of my favorite movies were on that list.

And he does Southland, on NBC? I had thought how cool that looked for a small-screen production.

Mort,
Up to now he has only done feature films. He has been trying to get into Directing and the Producers of Southland promised him a Directing Job on one of the episodes. If he does well they will give him more to direct. So we will see. I prefer when he does features because he takes me along and I get to play in whatever country he is working in. LOL
I was in Paris when he did Rush Hour 3 and Marsielle, France and Paris when he did Traitor. I went to Thailand when he was working on Heaven and Earth with Oliver Stone. I was in New Orleans for JFK. But its nice he is finally able to work at home for awhile.

Pretty Amazing resume.

Plus one hell of a roll call of Directors:

James Cameron
Micheal Mann
Kevin Costner
Oliver Stone

A lot of scenes I have always admired.

Bravo.

Thanks Lynn, that was very cool, yes some of my favorite films were included.

The 5 acre compound is probably ok as long as you aren't near Mort:)
