Can anyone recommend a pickup to be able to haul 6000 lbs of rock, dirt, and plastics on a daily basis. No crew cab and full 8 ft bed is also what I think I want. This will be my first pickup truck. Please help.

What you need is a trailer. Even brand new F-350 DRW trucks don't have that much payload capacity. Get a heavy duty trailer with any 3/4 ton truck that you want.

What's your price range?

And you CAN put that much in the bed, it'll go, turn corners, you probably won't die. It won't stop, however, and you'll get oveweight tickets if you're stopped by the law.

Yeah, those are the bomb dot com. We sold MaxiDump trailers at the place I used to work. Besides having a sweet double entendre for a name, they were extremely heavy duty and well made. Not cheap, though, unfortunately, but any 3/4 or 1-ton could tow them.

Im with those guys ^^^^ You would need an F450 to put it in the bed. The dump trailer would be sweet.

Or one of these

F450 or 550 ^^^

You're right, you could probably pick up an older (99-2000) F-450 or F-550 at a used commercial truck dealer for pretty cheap, nowadays. We've got a couple places around here, I'm blanking on the name, that only sells commercial trucks and vans. Their lot looks like a Frigidaire warehouse.

It would have to be at least a Cab and Chassis F350 with the HD Package Mine can haul almost 6000 pound legally

But a F450 or bigger will do it better.
As for a Pick Up doing it, most can but it is how much damage you are doing because of the wrong Gearing and Suspension
