I spent $50 for the headunit
...$40 for 4 speakers
...$10.23 for my subwoofer (enclosed tube)

I'm real careful about Fry's. They sell a lot of CRAP, and they make it very difficult to return things.

Back in the day, Phase Linear amps were referred to Flames Linear, due to their tendency to burn out or catch on fire.

Update: Here's pics of my install. Just put everything in today at a NorCal mod party (where we showed a recruit Ashleighs pics, and he will be signing up soon!)

$10 sub tube, $10 Ebay amp. Sounds good enough!
