In the late 80's - early 90's Dodge made the Power Ram. I have seen the standard and "extended cab" versions. I have been trying to find the extended cab. I was wonderin if anybody knew anything about them and what is the difference between the W150/m880/600/400? I have tried to look these up but no luck...HELP!!

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

Was it called the Power Ram or the Power Wagon? I remember the Power Wagon (looked like a really heavy duty single cab). They had a version with stacks that they called the 'Lil Red Wagon' or something.

Is that what you're thinking of?

mainly looking for the difference between the W & D models. I think it was just a year thing but not for certain.

I believe W was for 4x4 and D was for 4x2, but I could be mistaken.

Interesting article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_D_Series#1981_to_1993

M880 appears to be a military version of the D series at that time.

Lil Red Express was the right name - my memory was off a bit.

Still trying to find out where the W series trucks are discussed. Looks like they were 'Power Wagons', like I mentioned before. Might have been a different platform altogether.

The M880's were (I think) 3/4-ton trucks equipped with 318ci V-8's, Automatic tranny and 4x4. One thing that sets them apart from their civilian counterparts is a 24-volt system.

Those things were crap. Wouldn't start half the time - wished they hadn't the other half!
